The Arts at St Meryl School are taught as discrete subjects but teachers also develop them across and throughout the rest of the curriculum. Through art and design we aim to engage, inspire and challenge pupils, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to experiment, invent and create their own works of art, craft and design. Children learn about artists and their work and are taught to be proficient in drawing, painting, sculpture and other art forms.
