Week beginning 4th February
Some of our most able mathematicians participated in a maths workshop in the Hall today with children from other schools in the area. They worked really hard and completed some really challenging problems and puzzles.
Today we celebrated Chinese New year!
On Wednesdays we have Mrs Giles in school teaching the violin. See pictures below.
Year 2 is currently learning about life cycles and stages of growth in Science. Miss Pomfret brought in her toddler to meet the class and we asked her lots of questions about babies. Then Mr Miles, Mrs O'Brien, Miss Murphy and Mrs Pow (some of our parents) brought in their pre-school children so we could compare and contrast. Thanks Miss Pomfret and parents!
Year 4 participated in an Indian dance workshop today as part of their unit of work on India. It was brilliant!
And then it was golden time and Mr Joyce brought the tent INSIDE the dining room! It was so much fun. We also had children making fat balls for the birds and pom poms with Mrs Hameer. See our pictures below.
