What's been happening at St Meryl this week?

  On Tuesday Mrs Geddes took some of the children in our orchestra to a singing event at Woodhall School. Throughout the day children learnt to sing a variety of songs and about how songs are constructed. The day culminated in a performance to parents. It was a great day-well done children!

  Our Early Years and Key Stage 1 'Stay and Learn' morning on Wednesday was, as ever, very well attended by parents. Thank you for coming along to join in with learning in maths.

  Also on Wednesday we had our first chick hatch out of it's shell!!!!!

  We had an exciting day on Thursday with Year 5's class assembly followed by a Rock Steady performance. It was great to hear about all of the amazing learning that has taken place in Year 5 this term and to rock out with the Rock Steady bands!
