On Wednesday we celebrated World Children's day to mark the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. This co-incided well with our gold award from UNICEF for Rights Respecting Schools.

On Thursday Year 4 performed their class assembly and the St Meryl Choir began rehearsing for our forthcoming Christmas carol Concert at the Colosseum.

On Friday Year 5 visited the Saatchi Gallery in London to see treasures from the tomb of Tutankhamun. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience as for most of the artefacts this was their first time out of Egypt. Amazing!
